I purchased this beautiful ball gown sample dress at Priscilla of Boston before the closing of their boutiques. I am not sure what the exact size of the dress is, nor of the style name. In regular clothing, I am usually a size four and this dress fits like a glove (except in the chest, where I am tragically lacking). This gown is a unique confection of silk pick-ups, flowing train, and alencon lace bodice. I had the dress hemmed, but no other alterations were made. I am 5'5" and planned on wearing 4" heels, so it could still be hemmed shorter if need be. I ended up wearing one of the other samples I bought for my own wedding in October of 2011. This dress has never been worn outside of the boutique and my alterations shop. The dress is very clean and in perfect condition, but I would still have it dry cleaned and steamed before your wedding day; it has been hanging in a closet for a while now. The price of the dress includes a custom dyed crinoline slip from David's Bridal (style 550) which gives the gown more volume and shape (as well as "something blue"!) Please let me know if you have any questions about the dress. I'm sorry to see it go, but I'm not getting married again, so I need to find it a loving home. This dress is a bargain at $400. I will give discounts to school teachers, nurses, paramedics, firefighters and the owners of rescued animals.
